Day 3
Well the newspapers are saying that the unemployment figures have now reached 2 million, will courses such as d.e.a.p. (like the one i am currently on run by the Claverhouse group)be able to cope with the demand.Gordon Brown says that training is the answer but what do people train for ,does he have a crystal ball telling him which industries or job types will be available after the economic crisis is over and where are the facilities such as machine shops etc.to train everybody.dundee has very little now in the manufactuing or fabrication side of industry so what exactly do we train for.

Day 2
Lay offs at the n.c.r. .The government are to step in to give special help to people in the n.c.r. who are loosing their jobs.Do you think this is fair when there are many thousands of people who are unemployed or who have been unemployed for years who do not receive special help.
